In today's modern world many of us rely on our cell phone as the primary mode of communication and that includes text messages (SMS).  Gateway Health is excited to begin offering SMS communication as a way to get in touch with your Nurse, Care Manager, or Health Insurance Representative.

Privacy Policy

  • SMS messages may be used to communicate reminders, updates, or upcoming events. 
  • Personal information you share is not collected or stored by Gateway Health.  
  • SMS consent and phone numbers are not shared with any third parties/ affiliates for marketing purposes.
  • If you consent to receive SMS from Gateway Health, you agree to receive reminders and update SMS from us. Reply STOP to opt-out; Reply HELP for support; Message & data rates may apply; Messaging frequency may vary. 
  • Mobile Opt in, SMS Consent,  and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared with any third party or affiliates for marketing purposes.
  • How We Collect Your Personal Information: Any data collected will be through the Opt-In submission form or directly from the end user initiating SMS messaging.  
  • What Personal Information We Collect: The data that you choose to supply to your healthcare manager or representative is at your discretion and will be used to assist you with your experience with GATEWAY HEALTH.  
  • How We Use Your Personal Information: Data is used to improve or enhance our services provided, improving user experience, sending marketing communications, and providing information or reminders.
  • We do not share data with third-parties,  services or affiliates.

Consent for SMS Communications:

  • Upon granting consent to receive SMS communications from our company, rest assured that your phone number and consent will remain confidential. We will not sell or share your information with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. The phone number and consent will only be used to facilitate communication with you.
  • Types of SMS Communications: The following types of messages may be sent after obtaining consent:
    • Appointment Reminders: Reminders about upcoming appointments or events.
  • Example Message:
    "Hi [ Name], this is a reminder about your upcoming telephonic appointment with GATEWAY HEALTH on [Date] at [Time]. We look forward to speaking with you!"

  • Standard Messaging Disclosures:

  • Message Frequency: You may receive approximately 1-2 messages per week related to your requests. However, the frequency may vary depending on the nature of the communication.
  • Opt-In Method:
    You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from GATEWAY HEALTH in the following ways:
    • Verbally, during a conversation
    • By submitting an online form 
    • By initiating SMS messages with a GATEWAY HEALTH employee
  • Opt-Out Method:
    You can opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.
